As Benjamin Franklin observed, one who drinks from a cup to the bottom must be prepared to stumble upon the sediment. But what if this sediment isn’t so bad after all?
Harold Jenin noted: “People learn from their failures. They rarely learn from success.” That’s why the old Celtic proverb says: “See a lot, learn a lot, suffer a lot — this is the way to wisdom.” What you are facing right now can and should be this way.
Wisdom or ignorance? The ego is the voice of those who hesitate in voting. Striving leads to success (and adversity). Success creates its own adversity (and, thankfully, new ambitions). Adversity leads to aspirations and further success.
