Skeptics will wonder if Mr. Market overprices PepsiCo (PEP) because the soft drink and snack food giant’s revenues are falling.

For example, PepsiCo’s quarterly revenues fell by 0.52% from $28.08 billion in December 2022 to $27.85 billion in December 2023. However, PepsiCo’s quarterly net income grew by an astonishing 151.35% from $518 million in December 2022 to $1.3 billion in December 2023.
