Recently when I read and saw the pictures about the G7 Summit in the media, I recollected about my visit to the Eden Project in 2018.

I was really fascinated by how they maintain the temperature and humidity of the Tropical Rainforest biome and Mediterranean biome.

It was a great experience for me to visit the place in Cornwall, Eden Project, which is an educational charity. The globe like structures called biomes are nestled within a huge crater. It contains the largest rainforest in captivity.

Rainforest Biome

I saw plants from the entire planet and it is built with a picture of a new man-made wonder of the world and is in fact dubbed by some as the Eighth wonder of the world. It has a size of 30 football pitches. It is a huge resource for education and research for a sustainable future.

Me, personally coming from a tropical country, experienced the sights and smells of a tropical country.

It included the tropical vegetation with the right temperature and humidity.

The sights and the environment took me back to India for hours. It was mind-blowing to see the height of the structures and it could house the whole set of flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest area.

I saw tea, sugar and rubber inside the tropical rainforest biome.

The Rainforest Biome is an amazing adventure. It is nothing like you have seen before. You should definitely visit the place in order to experience the culture of the vegetation and research that goes into it.

This is Maize which also is seen in tropical regions.

A single biome consists of two to three globe like structures which make you mesmerized about the place that tempts you to visit once again.

Mission to Mars

Mission to Mars was a programme designed to entertain space enthusiasts. We take off from Earth and go in a Space Shuttle and then land in Mars when we explore the details of it and then we return back.

You could experience a journey to Mars and land back on Earth.

There is also a mini Mars Shuttle inside Eden Project where people could stand inside the building which looks like a Mars Shuttle.

This is the actual look and feel of it. The Departures, The Baggage Area, The Eating Outlet, The Screening Section for IoT

In the pictures you can see the terminal and destination that the Space Shuttle takes you to. There is a Baggage check in area and straight onboarding the shuttle.

The architects wanted the area, Eden Project, to be looking like the biomes situated inside a large crater. So the Mission to Mars project or programme lands its Space Shuttle inside the Crater with the Biomes seen through its windows.

Amazing isn’t!

Mediterranean Biome

The Mediterranean Biome has a very moderate temperature with Pine and Cypress trees. Even though I haven’t gone to Australia I have read in general, and it looks exactly like the Australian forests.

The Mediterranean Biome has plants from around the world involving Western Australia, South Africa, Central Chile and California.

With the smell of herbs in the air this biome would give you an immense pleasure through a land of brightly coloured flowers, olives and beautiful vines.
