The creation of value for organizations worldwide by the use of Artificial Intelligence Applications for Business, is a leading factor of competitive advantage in the evolving current business scenario.

Everything starts with the continuous process of identifying from the Business operations people what are the AI use cases in which value can be captured by the use of technology and algorithms to apply the intellectual capital of the organization towards the resolution of the type of problems that demands specialized knowledge, in which the outcomes can be enhanced with the AI scalable quality.

Technology per se is not a source of value, it only happens when applied for the resolution of a business problem.

Increasingly, the use of technology will demand savvy business people that can leverage their results with a better understanding of AI and its applications for the better use of the resources available in order to identify new opportunities, enhance customer experience and to improve business processes and KPIs focusing on better quality and cost reduction at scale.

Data and AI Algorithms in the value chain

Data is essential as inputs in the collaborative processes of generating ideas and prototyping new products in the experimentation cycles of organizations worldwide, that use data as intangible assets in the organization’s value chain to obtain scalable results.

The greater the quantity, quality and diversity of data, the greater the number of examples of real experiences available, and therefore, the more complex the tasks learned and performed by these algorithms can be, resulting in scalable quality gains, with enhanced mass customization and value generation in the process.

The organization starts to act as a platform powered by data, and enabled by AI models and algorithms, being an exponential way of scaling operations and enhancing business outcomes.

Thus, the generation of value through data and AI algorithms, involves the process of continuous experimentation and a constant feedback loop, where the company becomes a “learning organization”, capable of continuous innovation in the form of actionable insights, with the increase of its accumulated intellectual capital and collective knowledge.

Which in turn serves as a lever for generating value over time, reducing the organization’s time to value and making it more adaptable and responsive to constant market changes, preparing it to deal with complex scenarios and anticipating opportunities not foreseen by the competition.
