I’m an American who has lived in Europe since 1997, when my employer at the time, Deutsche Bank, offered me the opportunity to work abroad for a year. Well, one year turned into two, two into three, and then before I knew it, the year was 2023 and not only had I changed Investment Banking jobs several times, careers at least once, taken British Citizenship, gotten married and started a property rental business which grew into the top 15% in The UK, in terms of flats under management.
