Why do Rich and Successful People Wear Cheap Watches?

Are they missing on a good investment? Or is a Casio Duro all that we really need?

Move aside Omega! Eff off Rolex! Please, disappear JLC! We want Casio…or Seiko if we are feeling fancy!

When we imagine rich people some images come to mind: pools of gold, private jets, supercars. And, it may be the case many times! But, do all billionaires spend money on luxury?

If we have learned anything from Zuckerberg and Jobs, we know that often that is not the case. The same goes for the watches they choose. But why?

Billionaire Watches

As I was trying to explain, some successful people do choose to spend their money of big jets, crazy cars, as well as Rolexes and Patek Philipps. But not all do.

For example, let’s have a look at these three examples:

  • Bill Gates: Casio Duro, 40$ circa
  • Chuck Feeney: Casio F-91W 30$ circa
  • Barak Obama: Jorg Gray JG6500 200$ circa

I am no billionaire just a teenager and I buy replicas from my own money so even if someday hopefully I get rich would I buy an original rolex? NO
Why buy an original when I can get 2 or 3 replicas with the price of an orginal! btw got my replica from Wristova and it's so good
